Ingredients

  • 8 clv garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mash garlic and salt in mortar with pestle or possibly in small bowl using back of spoon.
  2. Transfer to medium bowl.
  3. Whisk in mayonnaise, extra virgin olive oil, and lemon juice.
  4. Chill till cool.
  5. (Can be prepared one week ahead; keep refrigerated.)
