Apple And Pear Compote

Ingredients

  • 1 large apple, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped
  • 1 medium pear, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cup apple juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the fruit, apple juice and lemon juice in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low; simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, for about 15 mins or until the fruit softens and the liquid is absorbed.
  2. Serve over oatmeal.
