Classic Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • rind of 2 lemons, cut in pieces

Instructions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan, stirring over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Boil about 1 minute.
  3. Strain; discard rind and cool.
  4. Add lemon juice and ice water; pour over ice and serve.
  5. Serves 6 to 8.
