Corn Masa Tortillas

Ingredients

  • 2 cups masa harina (corn flour)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Instructions

  1. Stir together all ingredients in a medium bowl until well incorporated. Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface, and knead 10 minutes. Divide dough into 12 to 14 equal portions; flatten each portion with a tortilla press. Cook in a medium skillet over high until edges curl slightly, about 3 minutes. Turn tortilla, and cook until puffed, about 2 minutes. Remove from skillet; cover with a damp paper towel until ready to use.
