Frioles Refritos(Refried Beans)

- salad oil
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a heavy frying pan.
- Add several spoons of beans and using a fork, back of a spoon or pastry blender, mash beans as they are cooking on low heat.
- Add more beans and continue smashing until frying pan is fairly full and the beans are creamy.
- Remove to a large bowl and continue with the next batch until all beans have been refried.
- Freezes well in meal size batches, using Ziploc bags.
- This is a tasty and inexpensive alternative to canned refried beans used in Mexican dishes.
