Lemon-Lime Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Juice of 1 small lime, plus the zest
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon, plus the zest

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Bring to a simmer, stirring until sugar has dissolved completely.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Strain into a clean container, cover and refrigerate.
  5. Can keep in refrigerator for two weeks.
