Lilac Sugar
Ingredients
- Lilac blossoms, little stems removed
- Granulated sugar (in equal amount to lilac blossoms by volume) ⓘ
Instructions
- Process the blooms and the sugar in a food processor until the blooms are completely broken down.
- The sugar will be damp. Spread it out on a baking sheet and let it air dry completely, stirring it and breaking up clumps occasionally. The dry time will vary depending on the conditions in your kitchen, I left mine out for almost 2 days, then transferred it to an air-tight container.
