Mandarin Mold

Ingredients

  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, well drained
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pt. orange sherbet

Instructions

  1. Dissolve gelatin in 1 1/2 cups boiling water.
  2. Add juice; allow to cool to room temperature.
  3. Fold in sherbet and vanilla. Refrigerate until partially set.
  4. Fold in oranges; pour into mold. Allow to set overnight.
  5. This is very good made in a ring mold and the center filled with chicken salad.
  6. Serves 10 to 12.
