Red Cinnamon Apples

Ingredients

  • 15 apples, cored and peeled
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 4 c. water
  • 1 c. red hots
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca

Instructions

  1. After cooking apples in syrup, strain syrup to take pieces of apple, etc. from it.
  2. Take 2 cups of the syrup and add tapioca. Stir until thickened.
  3. Will thicken more when cold.
  4. Spoon over apples.
  5. Top with whipped cream and cherry and fresh mint leaves.
