Tomato Stew

Instructions
- In a hot heavy bottomed pot or Dutch oven add bacon and onion. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring often until onion is soft and bacon is lightly browned.
- Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and Tabasco. Cook 10 minutes, stirring often.
- Add the broken biscuits and cook 2 or 3 minutes more.
- Taste and if too acidic, add sugar to balance flavors.
- Serve hot.
- Serves 4.
