Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and seeded
  • 4 ounces tequila
  • 4 ounces fresh lime juice (not the bottled kind, please)
  • 2 ounces triple sec
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • lime wedge, if desired

Instructions

  1. Moisten rims of margarita glasses and dip in cocktail salt.
  2. Place remaining ingredients in a blender and pulsate on high speed for 30 seconds.
  3. Blend for an additional 30 seconds until all ingredients are incorporated.
  4. Pour into salt-rimmed margarita glasses.
  5. Garnish with lime wedges if desired.
  6. *Large avocados are recommended for this recipe.
  7. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces.
  8. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
