- Using a sharp serrated knife, halve bagels to make 2 semicircles.
- Slice horizontally into 1/8-inch thick slices. Place in a single layer on ungreased baking sheet.
- Brush both sides lightly with oil and sprinkle lightly with salt.
- Bake at 400°
- for about 12 minutes, or until crisp and light golden.
