Basil-Thyme Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large basil sprigs
  • 5 small thyme sprigs

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water and the sugar, basil, and thyme. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved, then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  2. Let cool, then strain out herbs.
