Instructions
- In large bowl, cut shortening into flour; add milk.
- Stir with fork to form soft dough.
- One to three tablespoons additional milk may be added to achieve desired consistency.
- Turn onto floured surface; gently knead.
- Roll out 1/2-inch thick.
- Cut with 2-inch floured cutter.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 425° to 450° for 8 to 12 minutes.
- Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
