Bob'S Coconut Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 1 box yellow cake mix

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, sour cream and coconut and store overnight. The next day, bake cake according to package directions.
  2. Cool. Split each layer in half to make total of 4 layers.
  3. Frost with sour cream mixture and store in refrigerator for at least 4 days before serving.
  4. Tastes just like Grandma's homemade coconut cake.
