Ingredients

  • 1 quart Water
  • 1 cup Corn Meal
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in pan
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 20 minutes until a thick stew consistency.
  3. Pour into loaf pan and place in refrigerator over night.
  4. Remove from pan, slice into about 1/2 in wide slices.
  5. coat in flour, Place in cast iron skillet over medium heat
  6. cook for about 15 minutes on each side
