- Cut bacon into small pieces and brown.
- (Use a large cook pot.)
- Shred cabbage and add to bacon.
- Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender.
- Cook shells separately.
- Add to the bacon and cabbage.
- The longer it sets, the better it tastes.
