Ingredients

  • 1 whole fryer, cut up
  • 1 mild Jamestown sausage (bulk)
  • 2 c. rice (uncooked)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil chicken in pot of water until done.
  2. Brown sausage in pan.
  3. Debone chicken.
  4. Place 2 cups rice in big pot; add 4 cups chicken broth from pot that chicken was boiled in.
  5. Add chicken, sausage, salt and pepper.
  6. Bring to boil, then cut down on low and let rice cook until done.
