Crystallized Apples

Instructions
- Make a syrup of sugar, water and lemon juice.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add peeled, halved and cored apples to syrup and cook until just tender.
- Dip out and put on plate.
- You can color them red or green.
- Be sure to add coloring, one drop at a time, before adding apples.
- You can serve them around the edge of a plate of cold turkey, alternating red and green ones.
