Daisy Flower Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. refrigerator biscuits
  • your favorite jam or jelly

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°.
  2. Melt butter in small saucepan.
  3. Place biscuits 2 inches apart on ungreased cooking sheet.
  4. To make the daisy design, use the kitchen scissors to make 5 small cuts around the edge of each biscuit.
  5. Do not cut all the way to the center. Press your thumb into the center of each biscuit to make a hold. Spoon 1/2 teaspoon of your favorite jam or jelly into the center of each biscuit.
  6. Put cookie sheet into hot oven.
  7. Bake biscuits for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.
  8. Brush with melted butter.
  9. Use hot pads to remove cookie sheet from oven.
  10. With pancake turner, lift biscuits off cookie sheet and onto a serving plate.
  11. Serve warm.
