Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. coffee
  • 8 c. tap water

Instructions

  1. Put coffee in a large bowl.
  2. Pour water over grounds and leave in refrigerator at least 24 hours.
  3. Strain liquid through paper towels and discard grounds.
  4. Put "essence of coffee" liquid in a cup of boiling water to taste.
  5. Keep liquid in refrigerator.
