Easy Corned Beef And Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 can corned beef
  • 2 or 3 strips bacon
  • 1 head cabbage
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon strips until done in heavy skillet.
  2. Remove bacon; put 1 head chopped cabbage in bacon drippings.
  3. Add small amount of water; cover and steam until cabbage is tender.
  4. Make a well in the middle of the steamed cabbage.
  5. Once liquid is cooked out, add can of corned beef and let it heat through.
  6. Serve with cornbread.
