Five-Spice Snapper

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. vegetable juice blend (such as V-8)
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. stir-fry sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp. five-spice powder
  • 1 lb. red snapper fillets

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except red snapper fillets.
  2. In a preheated broiler, place fish on a broiler pan.
  3. Brush or spoon a little of the five-spice mixture over fillets.
  4. Turn and do the same to the underside.
  5. Broil fish 6 inches from source of heat, basting with sauce occasionally during the 15 to 20 minute cooking time.
  6. Do not turn fish.
  7. Yield:
