Garlic Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 pt. cherry tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 stick butter
  • salt and coarse black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place skillet over low heat.
  2. Add butter and melt.
  3. Add garlic and heat, but do not brown.
  4. Add tomatoes.
  5. Heat for 4 minutes over very low flame.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve immediately.
  8. (Garnish.)
  9. Place tomatoes on a bed of watercress. Tuck sprigs of watercress among tomatoes.
  10. Serve hot.
