- 1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the water, then add the flour and salt.
- 2. Coat the dough ball with a thin layer of oil.
- 3. Cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm, dry place for 1 hour.
- 4. Punch down and let rise again for 1 hour.
- 5. Knead on a floured surface by pressing the heel of your hand int he center of the dough, then folding it in half, and repeating.
- 6. Divide in half, and roll one portion with a rolling pin.
- 7. Tightly roll up the flattened dough, and knead the rolling portion gently as you roll it up to get air bubbles out.
- 8. Let rise for 1 hour.
- 9. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until the top is golden brown and hollow sounding.
- 10. Allow to cool before serving.
