Ingredients

  • 15 eggs
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Bring milk to a boil in saucepan.
  2. Beat eggs slightly; add gradually to boiled milk.
  3. Cook over low heat for about 7 minutes, or until it starts to thicken and forms curds.
  4. Add seasonings and sugar, stirring constantly so mixture will not scorch.
  5. Pour mixture into a cloth or cheesecloth bag; squeeze and tie opening tightly.
  6. Let drain about 2 hours, or until set.
  7. Refrigerate. Slice before serving.
