- In an electric blender or food processor, put all ingredients. Process at high speed for 1 minute.
- Pour into a heavy saucepan and cook, stirring constantly for approximately 2 minutes or until mixture has thickened and is bubbly.
- Mixture foams up considerably but this recedes as it cooks.
- Return to blender and process for 1 minute at high speed.
- This last step is important to keep sour cream mix at a smooth consistency.
- May be used as regular sour cream in cooking.
