  • 2/3 cup dry white wine
  • mint sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Puree chopped melon in a blender and set aside.
  2. Mix sugar and white wine in a saucepan and simmer until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Combine the melon puree with the wine mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan and freeze for 4 hours or until hard.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, puree the sorbet again to smooth.

Tips & Substitutions

For a smoother texture, choose ripe melons and allow them to chill before pureeing. If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, substitute dry white wine with an equal amount of coconut water or fruit juice. To enhance flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon or lime juice to the melon puree. Experiment with different melons for unique tastes.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the melon sorbet in chilled bowls for an elegant presentation. Garnish each serving with fresh mint sprigs for a pop of color and flavor. This refreshing dessert pairs beautifully with light summer dishes like Cucumber And Orange Salad or can be enjoyed on its own for a delightful treat.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks. To make serving easier, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping. If it becomes too hard, you can blend it briefly to restore its creamy texture.
