Ingredients

  • 1 gallon Water
  • 4 whole Family Size Black Tea Bags (or 16 Regular Tea Bags)
  • 2-2/3 cups Sugar
  • 6 sprigs Fresh Mint
  • 1 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1-1/2 cup Orange Juice

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil. Add tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags. Add sugar and mint. When cool, add lemon and orange juice. When ready to serve, add ginger ale. Serve over crushed ice.
  2. Note: I like to freeze "ice cubes" of this tea to add to the pitcher just before serving, so I don't dilute the tea.
