Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 2 (1 lb.) containers whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Bake cake according to package directions for a round cake. Mix together sour cream, sugar and crushed pineapple with juice. Reserve 1 cup of this mixture for icing.
  2. Slice cake in half to make 4 layers.
  3. Place 1 layer on plate.
  4. Cover with pineapple mixture.
  5. Continue this, then leave top layer uncovered.
  6. Combine whipped topping with the cup of pineapple mixture; put on top and sides.
  7. Cover cake and refrigerate.
  8. This cake looks like a large snowball.
