- Combine popcorn and peanuts in large bowl or pan.
- In 2-quart saucepan, combine molasses, sugar and salt; cook over medium heat to hard ball stage (260°).
- Pour syrup slowly over popped corn and nuts, stirring until mixture is well coated.
- Press into 5-ounce cold drink cups.
- Insert a wooden skewer in each and let cool. Push up bottoms of cup to remove.
- Makes 16.
