Ingredients

  • 6 hot dogs
  • 3 slices American cheese, cut into halves
  • 6 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. Slit hot dogs lengthwise, leaving one side hinged.
  2. Insert a thin strip of processed American cheese in slits and wrap each hot dog in a slice of bacon.
  3. Grill hot dogs over medium heat, turning several times, until bacon is done as desired.
  4. Serve in toasted buns with your favorite barbecue sauce.
