Ingredients

  • dried beans (any variety)
  • water

Instructions

  1. Place beans in pot, cover with water at least 2 inches above the beans. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 1 hour. Drain and rinse beans in a collander. Proceed to cook as your recipe directs.
