Ingredients

  • 4 c. rich sweet cream
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • flour enough to thicken

Instructions

  1. Place 3 cups of cream in a heavy saucepan and heat. Make a thickening with the rest of the cream and as much flour as needed. Let boil a few minutes.
  2. Add the salt.
  3. Stir constantly as it scorches easily.
  4. Serve with cinnamon and sugar in dabs over top, or with milk.
  5. Some use half and half.
  6. We use 3 cups of cream and 1 cup milk.
  7. Otherwise, too rich.
