Ingredients

  • 2 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 large onion
  • 10 or 12 jalapenos
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 c. white distilled vinegar

Instructions

  1. Mix tomato sauce and tomato paste.
  2. Add salt, pepper, garlic and vinegar.
  3. Cut up or blend tomatoes, onion and jalapenos. Bring to a boil; simmer to desired thickness (approximately 1 hour).
  4. Yields about 2 quarts.
