- Mix onion soup mix with appropriate amount of hot water. Place roast in pan and pour onion soup and water mixture over roast leaving onion bits on top of roast.
- Cover pan with foil. Bake at 225° for 1 hour per pound of meat.
- The au jus can be mixed with corn starch to make a great gravy.
