Simply Mussels

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds mussels
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • handful parsley

Instructions

  1. Clean and wash mussels.
  2. Throw out any that are open.
  3. You need a large pot with a lid.
  4. Heat pot, add oil and garlic.
  5. When you smell garlic 10-15 seconds add half parsley and wine.
  6. Add mussels and cover, cook until mussels have opened (3-4min).
  7. Place mussels in serving bowls, pour sauce over, sprinkle rest of parsley over the top.
  8. Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
