Sliced Apples

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 8 apples

Instructions

  1. Combine first four ingredients; bring to boil and add food coloring and sliced apples.
  2. Cook until tender.
  3. Put in baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle with more cinnamon.
  5. Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.
