Soap Crayons
Create colorful soap crayons perfect for bath time fun and creative play. Made from simple ingredients like soap flakes and food coloring, these crayons are safe, washable, and ideal for kids to draw, disguise, or decorate. A fun DIY project that combines craft and bath time enjoyment.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. water
- Ivory Flakes
- food coloring ⓘ
Instructions
- Pour 2 tablespoons of water into a 1-cup measuring cup.
- Fill the rest of the cup with Ivory Flakes to the top.
- Mix the water and soap flakes together with a spoon until the mixture becomes a thick, lump-free soap paste.
- Add about 30 or 40 drops of food coloring to the soap mixture and stir well until evenly colored.
- Scoop some of the mixture into an ice cube tray cube space.
- Press the soap paste down into the cube until filled to the top.
- Repeat with 1 or 2 more cubes using the remaining soap mixture.
- Allow the cubes to dry in a warm, dry place for 1 to 2 days until hard.
- Pop the soap crayons out of the tray.
- Use as fun, washable crayons for drawing and disguises.
