Spiced Ice Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 whole nutmeg
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 orange
  • 2 c. orange juice
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 3 c. double strength iced tea

Instructions

  1. Put sugar, water, nutmeg and cinnamon in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Add the orange (stud the orange with whole cloves). Cover.
  4. Cool and strain.
  5. Add the orange juice, lemon juice and iced tea.
  6. Serve over ice cubes in a tall glass.
