Strawberry Tartlets

Ingredients

  • 20 pastry shells
  • 4 oz. Petit Suisse or cream cheese
  • superfine sugar to taste
  • vanilla extract
  • 20 medium-sized strawberries
  • red currant jelly
  • squeeze of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Sweeten the Petit Suisse with sugar.
  2. Add the vanilla and spread a little in the bottom of each pastry shell.
  3. Wash the strawberries if necessary and remove the hulls.
  4. Set a whole berry on top of each tartlet.
  5. Warm the red currant jelly with the squeeze of lemon juice and brush over the tartlets.
