Ingredients

  • 1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained, reserving 2 Tbsp. liquid
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin

Instructions

  1. PLACE chickpeas and reserved liquid in blender or food processor with steel blade; cover.
  2. Process until smooth.
  3. ADD remaining ingredients; process until smooth.
  4. Chill.
  5. Serve with pita wedges and cucumber slices.
