- Prepare the chocolate cake as directed on the package and bake it in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- When the cake is removed from the oven, punch holes into it with the handle of a wooden spoon.
- Spread the can of chocolate pudding evenly over the top of the warm cake.
- Refrigerate the cake until chilled and set.
- When ready to serve, spread Cool Whip over the top of the cake and add sprinkles as desired.
