Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Hines chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can chocolate pudding
  • 1 container Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate cake as directed on the package and bake it in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. When the cake is removed from the oven, punch holes into it with the handle of a wooden spoon.
  3. Spread the can of chocolate pudding evenly over the top of the warm cake.
  4. Refrigerate the cake until chilled and set.
  5. When ready to serve, spread Cool Whip over the top of the cake and add sprinkles as desired.
