Turkish Coffee

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. Turkish Coffee for each demitasse cup
  • 1 demitasse cup boiling water for each cup
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar for each cup
  • cardamon to taste

Instructions

  1. Pour water into a brass coffee pot or saucepan and add sugar; bring to boil.
  2. Add coffee and cardamon (optional) stirring constantly.
  3. When mixture comes to a boil and becomes frothy, remove from fire and stir until froth has receded.
  4. Repeat this process two more times.
  5. After third time, pour into demitasse cups or small cups.
