Very Easy Simple Syrup

Ingredients

  • 250 grams Sugar
  • 150 ml Water
  • 1 slice Lemon slice

Instructions

  1. Add the water and sugar to a saucepan and heat on medium.
  2. Turn off the heat just before the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Add the lemon slice; this is to get rid of the scum.
  4. Leave the lemon in for a while to eliminate the scum, and leaves the mixture clear.
  5. (Once the scum has gone, take out the lemon.)
  6. Pour the mixture into an empty bottle and you're done.
  7. It's best to store the simple syrup in the refrigerator.
