Wheat Chex Bread

Instructions
- Mix Wheat Chex, salt, sugar and shortening.
- Heat milk in 1/4 cup water.
- Bring to boiling.
- Pour over mixture.
- Stir and let cool until lukewarm.
- Dissolve yeast in remaining 1/4 cup water (lukewarm).
- Stir into cooled mixture.
- Add flour, 1 cup at a time.
- Mix after each cup.
- Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Set in warm place to rise until double in size.
- Punch down and rise again.
- Bake 1 hour at 350°.
- Makes 2 loaves.
