- Cream sugar and shortening together.
- Add 1 egg at a time until you use 4.
- Gradually add flour, beating well.
- Add 2 remaining eggs.
- Beat thoroughly, adding vanilla and almond flavoring.
- Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350° for 50 minutes.
