Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp. almond flavoring

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and shortening together.
  2. Add 1 egg at a time until you use 4.
  3. Gradually add flour, beating well.
  4. Add 2 remaining eggs.
  5. Beat thoroughly, adding vanilla and almond flavoring.
  6. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350° for 50 minutes.
