Instructions
- Mash berries well and strain through a jelly bag or use a juicer.
- Add water and sugar to a preserving kettle and place over heat, stirring until dissolved.
- Bring to a boil, continue stirring until clear and skim.
- Let syrup boil again until a soft ball is formed in cold water, then slowly add the fruit juice. Boil again.
- Skim, pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
