Ingredients

  • 1 cup berries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 to 1 cup Concord grape wine

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt sugar in berries over low heat.
  2. Mix cornstarch in wine.
  3. Pour the wine mixture into the heated berries and sugar.
  4. Stir carefully until the mixture clears, shortly after it comes to a boil.
  5. If the sauce seems too thick, add wine or water, then bring back to a boil until the desired consistency is achieved.
