- Thaw

- Remove inside packages.
- Cook neck in 4 cups of water to make stock; set aside for gravy and dressing.
- Rinse turkey, pat dry with paper towel. Grease the inside
- of paper bag with shortening and place turkey inside. Roll

- breast side up. Preheat oven

- 325°
- and bake on lower rack for about 2 1/2 hours.

- cooks much faster using this method and browns well.
